Young Animal magazine from publisher Hakusensha revealed that the manga Ueno-san wa Bukiyou will end in two chapters. The manga will release its next chapter in the magazine's sixth issue on March 11th.
Synopsis
The main story of the series takes place in the science club room of a high school. The science club is formed by Ueno, the club director, along with Yamashita and Tanaka. Ueno, a girl with a tsundere , secretly likes Tanaka but lacks the courage to confess her feelings. To get around this, Ueno, with Yamashita's help, invents various strange scientific devices, built with the goal of winning Tanaka's heart. However, in most cases, Ueno's inventions and plans fail due to Tanaka's naiveté, who doesn't realize she likes him. Occasionally, some of Ueno's inventions and strategies seem to work, but they fail again because her personality quickly changes to a shy one.
The manga adaptation of Ueno-san wa Bukiyou debuted in Young Animal magazine in February 2015. The publisher Hakusensha released the eighth volume in July 2020.
