This year's third issue of Hakusensha 's Young Animal revealed that the Ueno-san wa Bukiyou manga will end in two chapters. The manga will release its next chapter in the magazine's sixth issue on March 11th.
Synopsis
The series' main story takes place in the science club room of a high school. The science club is formed by Ueno, the club director, along with Yamashita and Tanaka. Ueno, a girl with a tsundere , secretly likes Tanaka but lacks the courage to confess her feelings. To get around this, Ueno, with Yamashita's help, invents various strange scientific devices, built with the goal of winning Tanaka over. However, in most cases, Ueno's inventions and plans fail due to Tanaka's naiveté, who doesn't realize she likes him. Occasionally, some of Ueno's inventions and strategies seem to work, but again they fail as her personality quickly shifts to a shy one.
The Ueno-san wa Bukiyou manga debuted in Young Animal magazine in February 2015. Hakusensha published the eighth volume of the work in July 2020.
