This year's third issue of Hakusensha 's Young Animal revealed that the Ueno-san wa Bukiyou manga will end in two chapters. The manga will release its next chapter in the magazine's sixth issue on March 11.
Synopsis
The main story of the series takes place in the science club room of a high school. The science club is made up of Ueno, the club director, along with Yamashita and Tanaka. Ueno, a girl with a tsundere , secretly likes Tanaka, but lacks the courage to declare herself to him. To get around this, Ueno, with the help of Yamashita, invents diverse and strange scientific equipment, built with the aim of conquering Tanaka. However, in most cases, Ueno's inventions and plans fail due to Tanaka's naivety, who doesn't realize that she likes him. Occasionally, some of Ueno's inventions and strategies appear to work, but again fail as her personality quickly changes to a timid one.
Ueno-san wa Bukiyou's manga debuted in Young Animal magazine in February 2015. Hakusensha published the eighth volume of the work in July 2020.
