Shueisha 's Shonen Jump magazine announced a new 50-minute animation based on the game Naruto Shippunden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution (Narutimate Storm Revolution), which will be produced by Studio Pierrot.
Additionally, according to the magazine, an unprecedented story about the Akatsuki team will be presented.
The game brings new gameplay mechanics, including jutsu and technique combinations and the main thing: 100 playable characters, both from Naruto and Naruto Shippuden.
Narutimate Storm Revolution will be the result of a partnership between CyberConnect2 and Namco Bandai Games. Its release is scheduled for this year for both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
