The official website for the anime 'Undead Murder Farce' revealed this Wednesday (24) that it will have 13 episodes.

The animation for the anime will be handled by the Lapintrack studio, and the premiere is scheduled for July.
The series will star:
- Tomoyo Kurosawa as Aya Rindo
- Taku Yashiro as Tsugaru Shinuchi
- Makoto Koichi as Shizuku Hasei
Synopsis
In the late 19th century – a vampire's wife is murdered and the detective known as the “cage user” is called in to solve the crime. But there's more to the detective and the curtained cage he carries... after all, when solving a case involving a monster, you may need to meet one!
Mamoru Hatakeyama (Kaguya-sama: Love is War) is directing the anime at Lapin Track , while Noboru Takagi (Golden Kamuy) is handling series composition. Noriko Itou (Kakegurui) is designing the characters based on Zerogo Iwamoto's original designs. Naho Kozono (Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation) is serving as sub-character designer and chief animation director. Yuma Yamaguchi (I'M KODAMA KAWASHIRI) is then composing the music. Kazuhiro Wakabayashi (Bungo Stray Dogs) is therefore the sound director.
Finally, author Yugo Aosaki released the novel in 2015, and Kodansha published the third volume in April 2021.
