TMS Entertainment announced that Hulu has acquired the rights to the anime Undead Unluck , so the anime's debut on the streaming service will take place in October.

Additionally, TMS Entertainment revealed that the franchise will feature an interaction at Hulu's Entertainment Hall during the Anime Expo 2023 event this weekend. This is in addition to the anime's planned separate panel at the convention on Sunday, with voice actors Natsuki Hanae (Shen) and Moe Kahara (Fuuko Izumo), Undead Unluck manga editor Takumi Hashimoto, and producer Ryōta Hasegawa as guests.
It is directed by Yuki Yase at the David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure). Hideyuki Morioka designs the characters.
Synopsis
Undead Unluck follows the story of Fuko Izumo, also known as the cursed woman of “bad luck”. Fuko brings bad luck to anyone who touches her. The curse is strong enough to cause permanent damage if you come into contact with it for a long time. One day, she is saved by Andy, a man who cannot die, being considered a true “zombie”. He hopes to find a way to use Fuko's bad luck to finally get himself killed. The duo comes together to complete the missions given to them by the Book of Revelations. However, if they fail, the book could exterminate all humanity.
Finally, Undead Unluck is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshifumi Tozuka. Furthermore, the serialization has taken place in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since January 2020, with its chapters collected in twelve tankōbon volumes in July 2022.
