UNDER THE DOG
As always, I couldn't help but write about this new project that enchanted me deeply, because I really like the Sci-fi vibe involving action, typical of Akira with a Ghost in the Shell scent. The new project titled Under the Dog, already announced here on our website, is currently in production, being financed by you, that's right, a fundraising campaign was recently launched through the Kickstarter website. This campaign aims to produce this new animation with the highest possible quality for otaku fans..., counting on a highly talented team, without the need for massive interference from large companies, avoiding manipulation of the original work.
The project is currently being directed by Masahiro Andô, director of Hanasaku Iroha and Sword of the Stranger , and is approaching the end of its campaign, which ends on September 8th.
The idea is to aim to carry on the tradition of classic science fiction titles such as Akira and Ghost in the Shell, the material was written between 1994 and 1995. The production team is using Kickstarter in order to avoid the financing process of production committees, to maintain creative control.
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY:
A Sci-Fi anime that takes place in Tokyo in the year 2025, five years after a highly terrorist attack at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games. The UN formed a branch of secret forces in the city to hunt down terrorists and anyone who have connections with them. An international school was created to recruit high school students with enough talent and special skills and enroll them in the elite extermination group.
DESIGNER IS A STRENGTH:
Talking a little about the main character, Anthea, who by the way is the highlight not only in the images, but also in the trailer, since the project began, the character design of Anthea has changed the most. The older project is on the left while the newer one is on the right in the image mentioned below. Yusuke Kozaki (Game: Fire Emblem Awakening), the character designer worked on the designs for Anthea and all the other characters that will appear during the series.

Under the Dog will be available digitally with subtitles in multiple languages and Japanese audio. When financed, the anime will come with English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles. Furthermore, Hideo Kojima , the creator of the Metal Gear franchise, praised the creative project.
The anime will be available for digital download and physical media for supporters who have pledged to donate more than $25. Additionally you will receive an HD digital download, those who donate $35 will get an additional soundtrack, and $45 get an additional art book.
