The second season of the anime Unnamed Memory has received a new trailer. However, fans were also able to learn the expected release date.
The animation is based on the light novel by author Furumiya Kuji & chibi.
Therefore, the premiere of the 2nd season of Unnamed Memory will take place in January 2025, directed by Kazuya Miura at the animation studio ENGI.
Synopsis of Unnamed Memory:
Witches—the centuries-old magicians who possess enough power to bring about catastrophe. Oscar, the crown prince of the powerful kingdom of Farsas, was cursed as a child to never have an heir. But hoping to break the curse, he searches for Tinasha, the most powerful witch on the continent. To find her, he climbs her tower, as it is said she grants the wish of all who reach the top. However, when he reaches the top... he asks Tinasha to be his bride!
"Unnamed Memory" is a Japanese light novel series created by Kuji Furumiya. The series originated on the novel publishing website Shōsetsuka ni Narō in September 2012. It was later acquired by ASCII Media Works, which published the series with chibi illustrations under the Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint.
Additionally, a manga adaptation, with illustrations by Naoki Koshimizu, began serialization in ASCII Media Works' Dengeki Daioh magazine in September 2020.
