The official website for the new anime based on Rumiko Takahashi 's manga , Urusei  Yatsura , has posted a new full trailer. According to the official website, the series will be a reboot of the first season, split into two parts.

Takahiro Kamei (episode director on Strike Witches: Road to Berlin, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) will serve as series director at studio David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Cells at Work!). Masaru  Yokoyama (Horimiya, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, 2019's Fruits Basket) is composing the music.

Synopsis:

The story takes place when Earth is threatened by a fleet of alien invaders known as Oni, Ataru is selected to represent humanity in a duel against one of them.

Urusei Yatsura was published in Weekly Shonen Sunday in September 1978 and ran until February 1987 with 34 volumes. The manga was adapted into a 195-episode anime series that premiered in October 1981 and also had several films and OVAs.

Finally, the premiere takes place on October 13th.
