A new promotional image of Lum from the anime Urusei Yatsura has been revealed for Japanese Valentine's Day. The special date falls on February 14th each year. The anime premiered on October 13th (2022) in Japan.

Takahiro Kamei (episode director on Strike Witches: Road to Berlin, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind) is the series director at studio David Production (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Cells at Work!). Masaru  Yokoyama (Horimiya, Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans, 2019's Fruits Basket) is composing the music.

Synopsis:

The story takes place when Earth is threatened by a fleet of alien invaders known as Oni, Ataru is selected to represent humanity in a duel against one of them.

Urusei Yatsura was published in Weekly Shonen Sunday in September 1978 and ran for 34 volumes until February 1987. The series was spawned by a 195-episode anime series that premiered in October 1981, which also spawned several feature films and OVAs.
