The official website for Ushinawareta Mirai o Motomete has released the first two promotional videos for the series based on the adult game. The series is scheduled to premiere on October 4th.
The original game's story is set in the fall, specifically in the early 21st century, in the Uchihama area. Uchihama Academy is growing by leaps and bounds. With the construction of a new school building, there will be a final General Club Festival in the old building, which is scheduled for closure. The students promise to give everything to make this final cultural festival a success.
Naoto Hosoda will direct the anime at the Sinta animation studio, with scripts by Sadayuki Murai, Tatsuya Takahashi, and Satoko and Shinozuka will be providing series composition. Ikuo Yamakado will be creating the characters based on original designs by Kurehito Misaki and Shinobu Kuroya.
