It was revealed via the official Twitter that the manga Uzaki-chan wa Asobitai! ( Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! ) passed the mark of 1.7 million copies in circulation.
Uzaki-chan began publication in December 2017. The 6th volume will be released on March 9th and was ranked in the list of the 20 best web mangas in the Tsugi ni Kuru Manga Awards by Da Vinci and Niconico in 2018.
Furthermore, the work received an anime in 2020 with 12 episodes. A second season has been revealed, but there is still no premiere date.
Finally, the animation is from ENGI (Kemono Michi: Rise Up), direction is by Kazuya Miura (Kemono Michi: Rise Up, DRAMAtical Murder) with character design by Manabu Kurihara .
