Valkyrie Drive -Mermaid- Action, Ecchi and Fantasy anime gets first promotional video. The project is by Kenichirō Takaki (Senran Kagura) and Hiraku Kaneko (Maken-Ki!, Manyū Hiken-chō).
The story of the anime takes place on five artificial islands. Mamori Tokonome is transferred to one of these islands when she is attacked and a newly transferred girl named Mirei saves her. But the enemy doesn't stop and the two are cornered. They had already lost all hope, but Mirei kisses Mamori, and she turns into a sword. Mirei takes up her sword and launches a counterattack against her enemies.”
The direction is by “Hiraku Kaneko” who works with the ARMS studio (Himawari!, Ikki Tousen: Dragon Destiny). The series arrives in October in Japan on channels AT-X, Tokyo MX and others.
