The item was auctioned for the first time on eBay on Wednesday, and with that, YouTuber Alex Cimo , who interviewed the card's owner, Tyler Gressle , as well as said it received a bid of $100,000 within the first hour. .

So the Make-A-Wish granted Gressle's wish to create his own personalized letter in 2005, and Gressle has kept it in storage ever since.

In 2001, Tyler Gressle was then diagnosed with undifferentiated sarcoma of the liver, an extremely rare form of cancer at the time, however, he was then given the opportunity to select the artwork and name for an upcoming card.

For the “Tyler the Great Warrior” card, manga creator Kazuki Takahashi drew two sketches of a design based on Trunks, a character from Dragon Ball. Takahashi also personally signed the letter. Gressle commented that his wish gave him the opportunity to express his appreciation for two of his biggest interests at the time: Dragon Ball and Yu-Gi-Oh!.

The auction will end on April 29th, and in addition, Gressle plans to donate a portion of the auction proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation as a thank you for helping illustrate her inner warrior. Additionally, Beckett Grading Services professionally graded the letter as a 7 (almost perfect).
