After all, who doesn't love it when an anime delivers not only action, but also songs that touch the hearts of fans? Well, that's exactly what Vigilante: My Hero Academia Illegals brought with the premiere of the lyric video for the song "Looking for You," performed by the talented Hasegawa Ikumi , the official voice of Pop☆Step .

- The Beginning After the End Ep. 6: Arthur's Training
The video, now available on YouTube, arrived shortly after the airing of episode 5, which aired on May 5, 2025. Furthermore, it delves into Pop's deepest feelings as he recalls memorable moments from his past with Kōichi. As the clip progresses, carefully chosen images accompany the emotional lyrics, making the experience even more impactful for fans. Surprisingly, a new visual was also released highlighting the duo in the episode that revealed this part of their past.
An official spin-off that conquered the world
First, it's worth remembering that Vigilante: My Hero Academia Illegals is an official spin-off of Kōhei Horikoshi's acclaimed manga. Although the script is by Hideyuki Furuhashi and the artwork is by Betten Court, the work connects directly to the official My Hero Academia .
Published between 2017 and 2022 on the Shonen Jump+ platform, the manga gained fans not only in Japan but also abroad. After all, who can resist a plot that explores the backstories of heroes who, despite being illegal, can't turn their backs on those in need? So, while the official heroes fight villains using their "individuality," the vigilantes operate in the shadows to protect the innocent.
Currently, the anime adaptation is directed by Kenichi Suzuki — known for his work on Cells at Work and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean — and, like the main anime, is being produced by the studio Bones.
