On his X profile (formerly Twitter), Yukimura shared sincere words of gratitude to the fans who followed Thorfinn from his childhood marked by revenge to his maturity guided by peace. According to him, the goal was always to show a young man's growth through difficult experiences, and now, with the conclusion, he feels relieved—and ready to enjoy a well-deserved break. After all, as the author joked, it's summer in Japan, and he plans to fish, play The Legend of Zelda , and even study English.
Final volume will be released in September
Volume 29, which concludes the collection, will be released on September 22, 2025, in Japan. Fans can expect a special edition, however. Yukimura revealed that he is still finalizing the cover art. The work is also available in English from Kodansha USA, with over 7 million copies in circulation worldwide.
