Twin Engine streamed a new trailer for the second season of the Vinland Saga anime on Monday, which reveals and features the anime's ending theme song "Without Love" by LMYK.

The team from the first season returns, this time at the MAPPA instead of Wit Studio . Shuuhei Yabuta (director of Inuyashiki Last Hero, director of Attack on Titan 3D) is returning to direct the anime. Hiroshi Seko (Banana Fish, Ajin: Demi-Human) is once again supervising and writing the scripts for the series. Takahiko Abiru (2011's Hunter × Hunter animation director) also returns to design the characters. Yutaka Yamada (Tokyo Ghoul, Donten ni Warau Gaiden: Ketsubetsu, Yamainu no Chikai) is once again composing the music.
Synopsis
In short, the story of Vinland Saga begins 15 years earlier, when the Viking commander Thors decides to desert the battle to live a life of peace in Iceland alongside his wife Helga. Some time later, his son Thorfinn wishes to visit the paradise known as Vinland. When Thors is summoned to yet another battle, the ancient warrior is trapped in a trap to pay for having deserted so many years ago. When the plan is put into action, amid confusion, Thorfinn is taken hostage and his father ends up dead. Thorfinn is forced to join his kidnappers.
The first season of the anime then premiered in July 2019.
Makoto Yukimura eventually launched the series in Kodansha 's Weekly Shounen Magazine Afternoon magazine later that year. Yukimura began drawing the fourth and final arc of the manga in November 2019. Furthermore, the manga has more than 7 million copies in circulation.
