What can we say about Kyoto Animation (Clannad, Hyouka)? Well, the long-awaited anime adaptation of the novel Violet Evergarden took the public by surprise with the beautiful trailer released.
In the video, you can see a mention of the commercial's production team. Taichi Ichidate (K-On!, Free!) is the director, while Akiko Takase is the character designer.
The first volume of Violet Evergarden arrived in Japan last year and was awarded the top prize at the 5th Kyoto Animation Awards , marking the first time a title from the publisher itself has won this category.
