What can we say about the animations from Kyoto Animation (Clannad, Hyouka)? Well, the long-awaited anime adaptation of the novel Violet Evergarden took the public by surprise with the beautiful trailer released.
In the video, you can see the quote from the commercial's production team. Taichi Ichidate (K-On!, Free!) is the director, while Akiko Takase is the character designer.
The first volume of Violet Evergarden arrived in Japan last year and was awarded the main prize at the 5th Kyoto Animation Award , this being the first time that a title from the publisher itself has won this category.
