Virgin Punk 's official website has announced a new look of the series, so the team reinforced their release date. The work is the creation of Yasuomi Umetsu , the same director of Kite (1998) and Mezzo Forte (2000).
With impeccable animation from Shaft , Virgin Punk has a premiere in theaters on June 27, 2025. The first episode won title of Clockwork Girl .
In recent years, Umetsu has contributed as director of openings and endings for several popular series and as an animator, showing his versatility. Now, he announces Virgin Punk, his first major animation project in approximately 10 years.
