Visual Prison – Anime gets its first promotional video

Arthur Vinicius
I'm a technology enthusiast and a lover of anime, manga, and games. The vast majority of anime I enjoy belong to the Shounen demographic.

During the second broadcast dedicated to the anime Visual Prison , the first full promotional video was revealed. The video reveals some of the characters' voices, as well as the song "Guilty † Cross" by the rock band Eclipse .

Check it out:

It's worth remembering that "Guilty † Cross" is now available on various digital music services. The next special featuring the cast will air next month.

Aniplex itself states that the project portrays "visual kei" musicians as vampires. The visual kei genre is a subgenre of Japanese rock characterized by elaborate visual performances, gothic aesthetics, ballad-like melodies, and musicians who present androgynous performances. In the anime's story, the vampires play visual kei music and gather in Harajuku at an event known as "Visual Prison" under the red moon once a year, performing visual kei songs to attract the audience and offer the best possible music for the red moon.

The story begins when Ange Yuki, a lonely boy without family, travels to Harajuku to see his favorite artist, and there witnesses an intense musical battle between the bands Eclipse and Lost Eden, their energetic performance touching his heart.
