The official website for the Orient anime , based on the manga by Shinobu Ohtaka , announced on Monday that voice actress Kiyono Yasuno will join the cast starting with the 12th episode as the character Michiru Saruwatari .
Crunchyroll will stream episodes 11 and 12 of the anime on March 23rd.
The film is directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa , with composition by Mariko Kunisawa , character design by Takahiro Kishida , and music by Hideyuki Fukasawa .
Synopsis:
The story of Orient takes place during the Sengoku period in Hinomoto, a region ruled by "demons." A 15-year-old boy named Musashi will confront these demons with the help of a special power.
Kodansha revealed that the manga will end its run in Shounen Magazine with chapter 113 in the sixth issue of this year, then be transferred to the monthly publication of Bessatsu magazine.
Finally, the ACGT is responsible for the animation.
