Wandance Synopsis:
Kaboku Kotani is starting high school and plans to do what he's always done: keep up with his friends, keep quiet, and not attract too much attention. After all, it's hard enough living with your stutter—why make things worse by standing out from the crowd? But then he sees a fellow first year, Hikari Wanda, dancing as if no one was watching—or as if she didn't care who was watching. This makes Kaboku wonder: could he achieve that same freedom? To get closer to Wanda, he does something he never thought he could do: he joins the dance club. After all, every choreography starts with a single step, right?
The manga was eventually serialized in Kodansha's seinen manga magazine, Monthly Afternoon, since January 2019, with its chapters collected into 12 tankōbon volumes as of April 2024. In North America, the manga is licensed for release in English by Kodansha USA.
