The anime war is just beginning. According to reports, Warner Bros. Animation and Cartoon Network will begin producing anime . Jason DeMarco , the creator of Toonami , will be responsible for leading the new production team.
DeMarco thus assumes the role of senior vice president of anime and live-action series. He will develop series and feature films based on original works from Warner Bros. and other companies in the anime format.
About DeMarco:
He was a supervisor on some Crunchyroll originals, such as “ Fena: Pirate Princess ” and “Uzumaki,” which will air in 2022.
Finally, the first projects should happen with the recently announced The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim , the next film from New Line and Warner Bros. Furthermore, all of the studio's anime will be made in Japan, with local artists and developers.
