Tecmo Koei Games has started a trailer for its upcoming game Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate (titled Muso Orochi 2 Ultimate in Japan). The trailer showcases over 140 playable characters, highlights gameplay elements such as triple run, combat style change, air-type action, and “Shin Musou Blast”, and also highlights game modes such as Unlimited Mode and Dual Mode.

The original Muso OROCHI game featured characters from Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors, while the final Musou Orochi 2 will include Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, as well as characters from Dead or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, and the Atelier series.
The game is set to be released on September 26 in Japan. The PS3 version will cost ¥6,615 (about US$67), while the downloadable version will be ¥5,800 (US$58). The PS Vita version is expected to retail at ¥6,090 (US$61), while the downloadable version will be ¥5,400 (US$54). A premium edition includes the original soundtrack, a sticker set of all the characters, and postcard character designs for the new characters will sell for ¥9,765 (about US$99) and ¥9,240 (about US$93) for the PS3 and PS Vita versions, respectively.
