Project Mirai 2: Game gets first trailer

SEGA has released the first official trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2 , a direct sequel to the previously released music game Nintendo 3DS . The new title promises to further expand the virtual diva's universe, featuring not only Miku but also her fellow vocaloids in adorable Nendoroid-style versions.

In the released video, you can see Miku performing the tracks "Koneko no Paya Paya" and "Yume-Yume." The gameplay has been improved, allowing players to choose between traditional buttons or the touchscreen to perform the songs with precision.

Nendoroid visuals and new songs

The Nendoroid aesthetic adds extra charm to the performance, while fans can expect an updated tracklist. Confirmed songs include "Koneko no Payapaya," "Do Re Mi Fa Rondo," and "Yume-Yume." Additionally, several costumes will be available for character customization, including Sakura Miku , which should certainly please detail-oriented fans.

Scheduled for release in the Japanese fall, Project Mirai 2 comes to consolidate Miku's presence on Nintendo's handheld, taking advantage of the unique features of the 3DS's two screens for a more interactive and musically immersive experience.
