Legendary Pictures has released a new trailer for the highly anticipated 300 film Rise of an Empire.

The film tells the story of the rise of the villain Xerxes as the Themistokles fight against the massive invading Persian forces, led by the self-proclaimed god Xerxes, and Artemisia, the vengeful commander of the Persian navy. Thus began the fierce battle that would only end in 300.

300 – Rise of an Empire is scheduled to premiere on March 7, 2014.
