Pony Canyon has released the first promotional video for the adaptation of author Yun Kouga and Sunao Minakata's "Riddle Story of Devil (Akuma no Riddle)".
The story takes place in the 10th grade, in the Kurogumi class of the Myojyou girls' boarding school. The class is composed of 12 assassins, and their target is a girl named Haru Ichinose. Haru knows her life is in danger, but she has decided to fight to survive until graduation. Tokaku Azuma, who recently transferred to the class, is also trying to kill her. However, little by little, she finds herself falling in love with Haru.

The anime is produced by a Tokyo-based company called Diomedéa (Kodomo no Jikan, Squid Girl, Astarotte no Omocha!). Keizo Kusakawa, who directed Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, and Ro-Kyu-Bu!, is its director.
Story creator Yun Kouga and artist Sunao Minakata launched the manga in Newtype last year, and Kadokawa published the first compiled book volume in July.
The anime will premiere in Japan in April.
