Pony Canyon has released the first promotional video for author Yun Kouga and Sunao Minakata's adaptation of "Riddle Story of Devil (Akuma no Riddle)."
The story takes place in the 10th grade, in the Kurogumi class of Myojyou High School for Girls. The class is made up of 12 assassins and their target, a girl named Haru Ichinose. Haru knows her life is in danger, but she's determined to fight to survive until graduation. Tokaku Azuma, who recently transferred into the class, is also trying to kill her. However, she gradually falls in love with Haru.

The anime is produced by a Tokyo-based company called Diomedéa (Kodomo no Jikan, Squid Girl, Astarotte no Omocha!). Keizo Kusakawa, who directed Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's, Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS, and Ro-Kyu-Bu!, is serving as its director.
Creator Yun Kouga and artist Sunao Minakata launched the manga in Newtype last year, and Kadokawa published the first compiled book volume in July.
The anime will premiere in Japan in April.
