The film based on the series Veronica Mars has just received its first trailer.

The story follows Veronica after graduating from law school and leaving behind the city of Neptune and her days as an amateur investigator. Living in New York and trying to land a job at a high-profile law firm, Veronica receives a phone call from her ex-boyfriend Logan, who has been accused of murder.

Veronica returns to Neptune just to help Logan find a lawyer, but when things get out of hand, Veronica finds herself being dragged back into the life she thought she had left behind.

Warner Bros. has scheduled the release for March 14, 2014, the same day as the highly anticipated Need for Speed movie.
