Yūki Kimikawa's light novel Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! (Tsuihōsha Shokudō and Yōkoso) had its anime adaptation announced.
Therefore, the new anime Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! premieres in 2025 in Japan.
Synopsis:
Leave everything in the hands of the most powerful chef of all! Betrayed by those he considered friends, Dennis was exiled from one of the strongest guilds: the Silver Wings Battalion . But he wasn't too bothered by this as he was eager to use his level 99 cooking skills. So he decided to leave the city behind and open a restaurant in the countryside. While pursuing his dream, Dennis encounters Atrielle, a young woman exiled from her noble family and forced into slavery until she is rescued by him. Together, they open the restaurant, and their first customer is… an exiled knight from another guild? How unusual. But she is not the only customer: an arrogant wizard and an overworked and underpaid sage also become regular customers.
Therefore Kimikawa released the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2018. Overlap published the first volume of the light novel in 2019 and the third volume in June 2020 being licensed by Tentai Books.
The manga adaptation made by Tsumumi debuted on Overlap's Comic Gardo website in 2019. Finally, Overlap published the first compiled volume of the manga in May 2020 and the eighth volume on June 25. Kaiten Books publishes the manga in English.
