Dragon Ball Daima has reached its conclusion, and the final episode promises to be a huge blowout for fans of the franchise. Originally, the series wasn't planned as part of Dragon Ball's 40th anniversary celebrations, but it ended up becoming a special treat for fans.

Supervised by the late Akira Toriyama , this was one of the last stories created by the master, full of twists and surprises that redefined the Dragon Ball universe as we know it.
Since its premiere last fall, Dragon Ball Z has surprised us with every episode, bringing significant changes to how we see the world of Goku and his friends. The plot culminated with the final battle against the Supreme Demon King Gomah , and now the finale promises to surpass all expectations. The final episode is almost here, and it's time to prepare for the grand finale!
Dragon Ball Daima Episode 20 Release Date
Titled "Maximum," episode 20 of Dragon Ball Daima is scheduled to premiere on Friday, February 28, 2025. Fans will be able to watch the new episode on Crunchyroll and Hulu , with a subsequent release on Netflix a week later. The English dubbed version doesn't yet have a confirmed release date, but it will be available exclusively on Crunchyroll when it arrives.
- 11:45 AM (New York Time/EST)
- 8:45 AM (Pacific Time / PST)
- 4:45 PM (London time / GMT)
The final episode will conclude the battle against Supreme Demon King Gomah and hopefully conclude the journey through the Demon Realm in a satisfactory way. Since the series takes place before the events of Dragon Ball Super , it's unlikely we'll see these new characters in future projects for quite some time. Therefore, this will truly be the end of an era.
What to expect from the end of the Daima anime?
Episode 19 brought two big surprises to fans: Glorio using the Demon Realm Dragon Balls to transform Goku and the others back into adults, and the debut of the new transformations at their full potential. We saw Vegeta as a Super Saiyan 3 and, finally, Goku as a Super Saiyan 4 in his adult form —something that left fans excited.
Now, episode 20 promises to show Goku as a Super Saiyan 4 in action in the official Dragon Ball canon for the first time. Toriyama oversaw this transformation, previously exclusive to Dragon Ball GT and other non-canon media, and integrated it into the official timeline. With the series ending before the events of Dragon Ball Super , this is just the first step towards the power levels fans know and love.
