Synopsis
The story unfolds thousands of years ago, when a mysterious phenomenon turns all of humanity to stone. In this intriguing scenario, the incredibly intelligent Senku Ishigami awakens in this era. Faced with this extraordinary situation, Senku decides to use his scientific expertise to revitalize a civilization on the verge of collapse. Accompanied by his childhood friend, the robust Taiju Oki, who also awakens at this time, the two join forces to rebuild the world from scratch.
The first cour of the anime Dr. Stone: New World premiered in Japan on April 6th and ended with its 11th episode. The second cour of the anime premiered in Japan on October 12th.
The first season of the anime premiered in July 2019.
