Anime “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” gets premiere date

The official website has revealed a trailer for the anime “Wistoria: Wand and Sword” (Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria) that reveals the series’ premiere date.

Therefore, the anime "Wistoria: Wand and Sword" premieres on July 7, 2024 in Japan. In the video we can hear the opening song "Fire and Fear" by PENGUIN RESEARCH and the ending song "Frozen" by the band TRUE.

Tatsuya Yoshihara (Chainsaw Man action director) is directing the anime at Actas and Bandai Namco Pictures . Sayaka Ono (Angel and Dragon's CROSS ANGE Rondo) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director. Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) is composing the music at Lantis.

Synopsis:

Thus, Ōmori and Aoi launched the manga in Bessatsu Shōnen magazine in December 2020. Kodansha published the manga's ninth compiled volume in early February 2024. In addition, the series earned a nomination at the seventh Next Manga Awards in 2021 in the print category.
