anime adaptation of Witch Hat Atelier has finally received a premiere date: the series will arrive on Japanese TV in April 2026. Furthermore, the first trailer has been revealed, showcasing refined scenes from Kamome Shirahama , with studio BUG FILMS transforming each scene into a living painting.

In the video, we follow Coco , voiced by Reina Motomura , as she expresses her fascination with magic. On the other hand, we see gentle moments from the protagonist's childhood, followed by dramatic scenes that highlight the darker tone of the story. The magician Qifrey , played by Natsuki Hanae , also appears with his mysterious yet welcoming air.

In addition, two new visuals were revealed, the first being for the wizard Qifrey:

The second image is of the main character, Coco:

Witch Hat Atelier follows Coco, an ordinary girl who accidentally discovers the forbidden secret of magic. She is then trained by Qifrey and plunges into a world full of beauty, danger, and shocking revelations. Furthermore, individual character designs have been released, reinforcing the artistic care put into the production.

The script will be written by Hiroshi Seko , who describes the manga as "a work constructed with rare technique and sensitivity." Ultimately, the series promises to deliver an intense visual and emotional experience for fantasy fans.
