The official website for the live-action version of Wotakoi has announced the official release date for the film in Japan. The film was initially scheduled to premiere this year, but its release has been postponed to February 7, 2020. In addition, two new cast members have been announced: Takumi Saito and Nanao , who will play the characters Kabakura and Koyanagi , respectively.
