Wuthering Waves version 2.6 hasn't even been released yet, but beta information has already begun leaking into the community. The highlights of the upcoming update are Augusta and Iuno, two new characters from Septimont, who come with new abilities and promising mechanics.

Her standout skill will be her Resonance skill, capable of inflicting massive amounts of Electro DMG. A curious detail is Augusta's alleged ability to increase a specific ally's Havoc DMG, which adds an unusual strategic layer for characters focused on direct damage.
Iuno takes on the role of a renowned priestess, combining offensive and defensive support in her abilities. Associated with the Aero element, she should act as a sub-DPS, with abilities that empower the next character's heavy attacks, heal allies within a domain, and even provide shields to reduce incoming damage. This combination makes her a versatile unit, ideal for compositions focused on survival and character synergy.
New weapons were also revealed in the leaks
The leaks also detail Augusta and Iuno's unique weapons, revealing effects aligned with their combat styles. Augusta is expected to wield a broadblade that increases ATK by 12% and amplifies Heavy Attack damage when using specific abilities, in addition to ignoring part of the enemy's defense when shielded. This effect can stack up to five times, indicating a very high potential for aggressive builds.
Iuno, in turn, will use gauntlets with a similar effect. Her weapon also increases ATK by 12% and boosts Resonance Liberation's damage for 15 seconds. The ability to ignore defense when shielding is present again, making the character even more effective in prolonged, high-pressure battles.
