The new generation of Microsoft , the Xbox Series X, officially announced today during The Game Awards . Presented at E3 2019 , the console is expected to arrive in late 2020.
The console had already been announced at E3 2019, but still under the codename Project Scarlett and without official images of the device.
The Game Awards is the most famous awards ceremony in the gaming world. Industry veteran Geoff Keighley hosts the show, which also features numerous guests. This year, for example, Reggie Fils-Aimé, former president of Nintendo of America, and creative director Ikumi Nakamura are expected to attend.
