Xbox Series X Announced, Microsoft's New Console

The new generation of Microsoft , the new Xbox Series X was officially announced during The Game Awards . At E3 2019 , the console is expected to arrive in late 2020.

The console had already been announced at E3 2019, but still under the codename Project Scarlett and without official images of the device.

The Game Awards is the most famous awards show in the gaming world. Industry veteran Geoff Keighley hosts the presentation, which also features a number of guests. This year, for example, Reggie Fils-Aimé, former president of Nintendo of America, and creative director Ikumi Nakamura are expected to attend.
