The anime Ya Boy Kongming! (Paripi Koumei) has received its first trailer for the compilation film of the series that premiered in 2023. Therefore, with the name Paripi Koumei Road to Summer Sonia, the film arrives on March 1st in theaters in Japan.

Synopsis:

Kongming (Zhuge Liang), the General of the Three Kingdoms, fought countless battles throughout his life, emerging as a renowned strategist. On his deathbed, he longed only to be reborn into a peaceful world. Thus, he was sent directly to the center of modern Tokyo! The question arises: can even a brilliant Chinese strategist like Kongming (Zhuge Liang) adapt to the wild rhythms and even wilder partygoers?

Kodansha 's Comic Days website launched the manga in December 2019, and serialization began in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in November 2021.

The manga inspired a 12-episode anime by PA Works in April 2022. Additionally, HIDIVE exclusively and simultaneously streamed the anime, as well as an English dub. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime and released it on home video on April 18.

Finally, a live-action series adaptation premiered on September 27.
