Fuji TV announced on Monday (1) the production of a live-action series adaptation of Ya Boy Kongming! (Paripi Kōmei) which will premiere on the channel this fall.

Osamu Mukai (seen in costume below) will play Shokatsu Kōmei (Zhuge Kongming, better known in history as Zhuge Liang).

Shūhei Shibue will be one of the directors of the series, with Nonji Nemoto as screenwriter. The series will air on Wednesdays at 10 PM during Fuji TV's "Shinsui 10 Drama" time slot.

The manga was then launched on Kodansha's Comic Days website in December 2019 and also began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Young Magazine in November 2021. Additionally, the publisher released the manga's 13th volume on April 6th.
Furthermore, the work received an anime adaptation in April 2022. HIDIVE streamed it exclusively and simultaneously.
Synopsis
