The production team responsible for the Yama no Susume has revealed that it will be receiving a new anime .
The new anime will be called Yama no Susume: Next Summit .

Yusuke Yamamoto is returning to direct the anime along with Studio 8-Bit , while Yuusuke Matsuo will be responsible for character design.
Comic Earth Star magazine had already warned in 2019 that the franchise would receive a new project .
