The anime Yami Healer will begin a new arc on May 22 , 2025, and to prepare fans, the team released a trailer and a new visual for the anime, as well as the new voice actors who will be joining in this episode.

The work is titled Isshun de Chiryo Shiteita no ni Yakutatazu to Tsuiho Sareta Tensai Chiyushi, Yami Healer to Shite Tanoshiku Ikiru . However, fans commonly refer to it as Yami Healer for simplicity. The work is also known by its English title: The Brilliant Healer's New Life in the Shadows .

Takehito Koyasu will play Becker , an healer who works for the Royal Institute of Healing, and entrusts Zenos with the task of finding a missing person.
Setsuo Ito will play Cress , a healer who works for the Royal Institute of Healing. He joined the Institute at the same time as Umin.
Tetsu Inada will play Goldran , the vice-director of the Royal Institute of Healing who is increasing the strength of his faction in preparation for the upcoming director election.

Meet Yami Healer
Sakaku Hishikawa wrote and Daburyu's illustrated the manga that serves as the basis for the story of the same name.
We follow the life of Zenos, who was born in the favelas, and whose poor background denied him almost all opportunities . After an encounter with a healer , he throws himself into studying to become a healer himself.
An adventurer invites Zenos to join a group, leaving him so thrilled with the invitation that he's willing to tolerate his teammates treating him like trash . The group fails to appreciate Zenos's talents, and ultimately, they kick him out of the group.
Now penniless and without options, Zenos decides to put his skills to use elsewhere and opens an underground clinic . News spreads quickly about the brilliant healer performing incredible magic in the underworld .
Regarding the new Yami Healer arc
In this second part of the first season, the story takes a new dramatic turn . Zenos arrives at the Royal Institute of Healing at the request of Becker, an elite healer. In exchange for keeping his illegal clinic a secret, Zenos agrees to search for Alfred , a healer who has gone missing .
The anime premiered on April 3 , 2025, and is being produced by Studio Makaria (Zatsu Tabi). Crunchyroll is responsible for distributing the anime in the West.
