The official Twitter account for the anime of Masaki Ando's manga Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki (Yatogame-chan Observation Diary) announced this Thursday (20) after the broadcast of the 12th and final episode of the show, that the series will receive a second season.
The first season aired on April 4th. Crunchyroll is streaming the series and describes the story as follows:
Born and raised in Tokyo, high school student Jin Kaito moves to Nagoya, where he meets Yatogame Monaka, a classmate who proudly displays her regional dialect. With her feline appearance and strong accent, Yatogame refuses to open her heart to the boy. This comedy with a regional twist will showcase the beauties of Nagoya through the adorable Yatogame-chan!

Mikako Komatsu as Yanna Sasatsu
Mitsuhiro Ichiki as Kaito Jin

The production is by Creators in Pack (NTR: Netsuzou Trap, Miss Bernard said.), the animation is by studio Saetta, and the chief director is Hisayoshi Hirasawa (Miss Bernard said., Netsuzou Trap -NTR-, Ojisan to Marshmallow, OZMAFIA!!).
Ando's manga has been published in Monthly Comic Rex since May 2016 and has over 200,000 copies in circulation (including digital copies). The series also had its main character as an Ambassador for the Nagoya Tourism Cultural Exchange Mission in March 2017.
