The official website for Kodansha 's Morning Kaoru Fukaya 8-panel manga Yomawari Neko (Nightwatch Cat) is getting an anime adaptation. Kodansha will reveal more details in the future.
The manga centers on a cat that is drawn to the smell of tears and will approach those who are crying to comfort or encourage them.
Kaoru Fukaya began drawing the manga and posting it on Twitter in 2015. Kodansha began publishing the manga on its MoAE starting in 2016.
