'Yotsugi Ononoki' is featured in trailer for new anime Monogatari

The official website for the new anime series 'Monogatari' (Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season) announced a trailer for the character Yotsugi Ononoki , voiced by Saori Hayami .

Yotsugi Ononoki is a rather unique tsukumogami, originating from a human corpse, and serves as Yozuru Kagenui's familiar shikigami. She stands out both for her appearance and for the roles she plays. Traditionally, tsukumogami are objects or tools that come to life after years of neglect, while shikigami are generally seen as spirits or ghosts that follow the orders of an onmyouji master. The presence of Yotsugi, an expressionless corpse, brings a new perspective to these concepts, making her a truly unique figure.

Therefore, the premiere of “Monogatari Off & Monster Season” will take place on July 6, 2024 in Japan.

Although Senjougahara Nadeko, now in her third year of high school, spends her days diligently painting for her future. Suddenly, a deadline is announced for her.
