It was announced in issue 41 of Shōnen Champion magazine that the second season of Yowamushi Pedal will arrive on October 6th.
The story revolves around Sakamichi Onoda, a young otaku who loves video game and anime figures so much that he's capable of cycling 90 kilometers around the Akihabara district to see what's new in all the stores of this kind located in the area. One day, Onoda catches the attention of Shokichi Naruko with his cycling skills, leading Shokichi to try and convince him to join his cycling team.
The animation is being handled by TMS Entertainment , and the director is Osamu Nabeshima (D.Gray-man, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Zetman).
