It was announced in issue 41 of Shōnen Champion magazine that the second season of Yowamushi Pedal arrives on October 6th.
The story revolves around Sakamichi Onoda, a young otaku who loves video game and anime figures so much that he's willing to ride his bicycle 90 kilometers around the Akihabara district to see what's new in all the stores of this kind in the area. One day, Onoda catches the eye of Shokichi Naruko for his cycling skills, which leads Shokichi to try to convince him to join his cycling team.
The animation is done by the studio TMS Entertainment , the director in charge is Osamu Nabeshima (D.Gray-man, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Zetman).
