It was announced in issue 41 of Shōnen Champion magazine that the second season of Yowamushi Pedal arrives on October 6th.
The story revolves around Sakamichi Onoda, a young otaku who likes video game and anime figures so much that he is able to take his bike and travel 90 kilometers around the Akihabara district to see what's new in all the stores of this type that are located in the area. One day, Onoda catches the attention of Shokichi Naruko due to his abilities as a cyclist, which leads Shokichi to try to convince him to join his cycling team.
The animation is handled by the studio TMS Entertainment , the director in charge is Osamu Nabeshima (D.Gray-man, Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas, Zetman).
