In 2016 the Yu-Gi-Oh franchise celebrates 20 years, and to celebrate a film will be released, supposedly titled Yu-Gi-Oh King.
Images of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the Black Magician were released in Shueisha's Shonen Jump. They reveal the characters' looks in the film, which will be released next year.
The first image is of the Blue-Eyes White Dragon, which looks very similar to the Dragon we already know, but the second, of the Black Mage, reveals details of the new design.
The reason for this change in appearance will be explained in the film.
Yu-Gi-Oh! is a game-based manga series written and illustrated by Kazuki Takahashi. The series was originally published by Shueisha in Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine between 1996 and 2004. The plot follows a boy named Yugi Muto, who rediscovers the ancient Millennium Puzzle and awakens a spirit within his body with the personality of a gamer, who resolves his conflicts through various games.
