During the Jump Festa 2020 Yu-Gi-Oh SEVENS anime was announced , the seventh anime in the franchise with a release date of April 2020.
Yu-Gi-Oh SEVENS will be produced by Studio Bridge , directed by Nobuhiro Kondo , with scripts by Toshimitsu Takeuchi and character designs by Kazuko Tadano and Hiromi Matsushita .

Finally, the new anime series will introduce a new format for the card game. According to the trailer, the game will now use only three summoning fields, instead of five as before.
