Netflix has revealed a new promotional image for its live-action series, based on Yoshihiro Togashi 's anime and manga Yu Yu Hakusho . The image features actor Shuhei Uesugi as Kazuma Kuwabara .

Kazutaka Sakamoto is the executive producer of the live-action series. Akira Morii is producing the adaptation at Robot. The live-action Yuyu Hakusho is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in December 2023.
Synopsis:
In short, Yu Yu Hakusho follows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a delinquent who, in an uncharacteristic act of altruism, is hit by a car and killed in an attempt to save a little boy by pushing him out of the way.
