Thus, Netflix revealed some more super news from its live-action , based on the anime and manga Yu Yu Hakusho , by Yoshihiro Togashi . According to the image, we can see actor Jun Shison portrayed as Kurama Youko .
Kazutaka Sakamoto is the executive producer of the live-action film. Akira Morii is producing the adaptation at Robot. Live-action Yuyu Hakusho is scheduled to premiere in December 2023 on Netflix.
Synopsis:
In short, Yu Yu Hakusho follows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a delinquent who, in an uncharacteristic act of altruism, is hit by a car and killed in an attempt to save a little boy by pushing him out of the way.
On the other hand, the Yu Yu Hakusho by author Yoshihiro Togashi was published in Shōnen Jump between 1990 and 1994.
